What's with the stars? I'm talking about the ones above which determine the destiny of the ones below who are performing live on stage abroad.
First Saif Ali Khan had to undergo an emergency surgery and now John, on the eve of his first overseas concert, injured his foot.
"It isn't as light an injury as it was made to be. John's foot is in a plaster. He has injured a couple of nerves and is still limping, " says a co-star who visited him.
This puts a big question on the Rock Stars concerts. How will John sing dance and regale his fans?
Events organizer Bunty Wallia admits it's a problem. "John's performance did get complicated because of his foot injury. But his acts have been modified in keeping with his injury. There was no way John was going to miss this opportunity to perform live on stage for the first time outside India.
You've to hand it to him for professionalism. Although it seemed doubtful that he could carry off the intricate steps, John insisted. He left for the concerts with Shahid, Kareena, Mallika Sherawat on Wednesday night."
It must be remembered here that Saif during the Heat concerts last month, insisted on performing although he had been warned not to do so. John too is expected to overlook his foot injury and give the fans their money's worth when the Rock Stars concerts kick off in Houston on 5 May.
In the meanwhile Bunty Walia's new film venture Beehad has undergone some changes. The title is no longer just Beehad. "After reading your article in Mumbai Mirror someone from a company called Popcorn Flicks claimed the title was his. I've now modified it to Beehad: Outlawed."
Sanjay Dutt who heads the cast and has given the story idea, will now be joined by Ajay Devgan in the film.
"But right now we're all crossing our fingers to see the Rock Stars concerts go well. It's the first time not just for John but also Zayed Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Esha Deol and Mallika Sherawat."
