After the success of his debut film Parineeta, director Pradeep Sarkar is all set for his next
venture.
Reportedly, Pradeep Sarkar teamed up with Yash Raj Films and he will direct his next untitled movie with Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerjee and Vidya Balan in the lead.
This is the second time that Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan will be paired together on screen. The film
reportedly is an emotional love story and the media grapevine has it that Pradeep Sarkar would not go
for adaptation of any novel as he did for his first film ‘Parineeta'.
Ask him how did the film happen and he tells, "I had been in talks with Aditya Chopra for some time. We were considering a few subjects relevant to today's time. After much brainstorming, we zeroed
in on this one.
Saif is a terrific actor and I would love to have him in all my films. As for Rani I have been nurturing a secret desire to work with her, and I'm glad she agreed.."
Pradeep Sarkar started his career in advertising and later he switched to filmmaking and his first film itself was a big success
Praddep Sarkar has about 1000 television commercials, about 15 music videos and a few feature film
songs, to his credit.
