For his next film, 'Dangal', Aamir Khan has been working on his Haryanvi accent with help of diction trainer Prakash Bhardwaj. Having struck a rapport, the latter has secured the star's involvement in his recently-announced project, 'Gulam Bandhu', which is slated to go on floors next year.
Says Prakash, "I met Aamir and narrated the script to him. He suggested a few changes, which I have already incorporated. Once the casting and pre-production work is done, I will request Aamir to support my film in any which way."
Sources suggest that the star is likely to present the film for which Rishi Kapoor and Nana Patekar have been aproached to play two qawwali singers belonging to different religious backgrounds. Khayyam has been roped in as the music composer.
"Tabu, too, is likely to play a lead role. Nana has liked the script and will sit for a detailed narration soon. However, Kapoor has found the subject a bit controversial and the makers are trying hard to get his nod. So, they are planning to approach him again after Nana signs the film.
In fact, they are thinking of requesting Nana to convince Rishi since they are good friends," says an insider. Prakash confirms having approached the two veteran actors for his project.
