A film like 'Talvar' can easily be classified as one of the most sensitive films, given the subject it has been made on.
Meghna Gulzar's next -'Talvar', that has been penned down by Vishal Bhardwaj, might be based on the Aarushi Talwar murder case, but it isn't a point by point adaptation. The truth is still unknown and continues to be a mystery.
It can only be perceived much like Akira Kurosowa's Rashomon, whose style of depiction this film adapts.
Neeraj Kabi, who plays a central part in the film adds "The story reveals the three versions of the murder. It wouldn't be fair to call it perception because every scene on screen is validated by research. We are not recreating the incident based on our imagination but on information that was revealed in the course of the investigation. We kept our approach as value neutral as possible, stating the course of events as is (based on the statements given by its prime witnesses during interrogation). It is neither judgemental nor sympathetic,."
Along with Neeraj the film also stars Konkana Sen and Irrfan Khan.
The Film is all set to be screened at major film festivals like Toronto, London and Busan.
'Talvar' will release on 2nd, October, 2015 in India.
