It's been just three years since her debut in 'Tarzan-The Wonder Car' and the bubbly and vivacious Ayesha Takia, has already become the most sought after actress in Bollywood.

Her effortless portrayals in Anant Mahadevan's 'Dil Maange More' and Imtiaz Ali's 'Socha Na Tha' made the Bollywood sit up and take notice of this bundle of talent.

Today she is a favourite of almost every filmmaker in tinsel town be it Sujoy Ghosh, Nikhil Advani or Nagesh Kukunoor.

For the vivacious and chirpy Ayesha, however, a foray in Bollywood is largely about enjoying herself as an actress by doing a variety of interesting roles and films that provide a clean wholesome entertainment to the cinegoers.

"As an actress, I want to do films that I can enjoy doing. So, for me it is very important to feel comfortable in and gel with the environment in which I am working," she tells in an interview. "Fortunately for me, I have, so early in my film career, got an opportunity to work with several like minded filmmakers like Nikhil, Sujoy and Nagesh all of whose sensibilities match with my own."

Ayesha, says she is lucky she got a chance to work with Naseeruddin Shah in his directorial debut "Yun Hota To Kya Hota" on the impact of terrorism on society.

"I play Khushboo, a college girl, who is struck by a tragedy when she goes to rescue her friend. Working with a versatile and accomplished director like Naseeruddin Shah is a privilege that is available to only a few actors. I consider myself lucky to be one of them," she gushes.

"Naseer is a perfectionist to the core and sets new standards of acting. Besides, he is a hard taskmaster who ensures that things work out exactly according to expectations."

Buy what about her personal life?

"I want to settle down by the age of thirty and make many films that have an impact on the audience even after I retires from films,' reveals Takia.

This is just not her only goal, she wants to learn cooking and do various other things in life. Right now she has laid conditions that she won't expose and producers need to sign a contract like all stars do before offering her a film.

"I don't want my children to be ashamed of my films and that's the reason for my inhibition," she declares with the glint in her eyes.
