Instead of filming in Punjab and Haryana for his upcoming project 'Sultan', Salman Khan will shoot in Karjat. Sallu essays a wrestler in the film and the makers were keen that he shoot in the two north Indian states as they are popular as wrestlers' hub.

Buzz is that Salman changed the shoot location considering that buddy Aamir Khan is also working on a film about wrestling being shot in Punjab and Haryana. To avoid the possibilty of the backdrop looking similar, he opted for Karjat.
