"There's a lot of talent both in India and Pakistan," Aamir said, "I think the talent in both these two countries should come together and entertain the world audience."
Aamir expressed his interest in Lollywood, "If the right offer and opportunity comes my way, I'd love to do a movie in Pakistan."
Indian films had been banned in Pakistan since 1965. Only recently President Musharraf waived the 41 year old ban on screening of Indian films in Pakistan as a gesture of goodwill growing between the two neighbours.
Akbar Khan's ‘Taj Mahal: The Eternal Love Story' was screened in Pakistan some days back.
Aamir's movie Rang De Basanti has been branded as the film for the new generation and has broken box office records. Khan's latest film, Fanaa, co-starring actress Kajol for the first time, is due to be released on 26 May 2006.
Gagan Grewal will be aired on the BBC Asian Network on 15 May.
