Last November, South filmmaker AR Murugadoss had fuelled rumours of a collaboration with Salman Khan after he tweeted a picture of them engrossed in a discussion, apparently for the Hindi remake of his Tamil superhit film Kaththi. Now, if the latest buzz is to be believed, the actor has given a green signal to the director.
Says a source, `In their last meeting, Murugadoss had briefed Salman about his project. And although Salman liked the concept, he didn't commit himself to it in view of his court cases. But now, the actor has given a go-ahead to the project, which is likely to be produced by his brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri.`
The director, who is currently busy with his Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Akira, has already remade two of his films in Hindi - Ghajini with Aamir Khan and Holiday (Thuppakki) with Akshay Kumar. Salman will make his next big screen outing with Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo this Diwali. Atul and Murugadoss remained unavailable for comment.
