Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan remembered his freedom fighter father Meer Taj Mohammed Khan on his 35th death anniversary.

The 49-year-old actor, who has always been vocal about his parents, took to Twitter to share his feelings about his father.

"Years accumulate and our wounds turn into water, and reflect the unlikely glimmer of happiness in moments of remembrance. 35 years since I saw my dad," he tweeted.

Shah Rukh is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his upcoming film 'Dilwale', which will see him reuniting with one of his favourite co-stars Kajol after a gap of five years.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Kabir Bedi among others.

'Dilwale' will hit theatres on December 18.
