Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has warned his fans and followers to be cautious of a fake Facebook page being operated in his name adding that the casting call for a Bollywood film on the page is also a sham.

The `Bajrangi Bhaijaan` star is miffed that his name is being wrongly used and took to Twitter to set the record straight.

`A fake Facebook page claims that I am casting for a film. Beware of fakes and rumours. Neither me nor my managers are casting for any project,` Salman tweeted on Wednesday.


The 49-year-old actor, who enjoys a wide fan base globally, was also annoyed about his photographs being misused to spread wrong information.

`Some ppl click pics with me and then misuse them. This is not okay,` the actor further shared.

On the professional front, the actor will be seen in `Prem Ratan Dhan Payo` and "Sultan" on the big screen, and he will enter the small screen again as the host of `Bigg Boss 9`
