Extensive research has gone into making of the film 'Talvar' as the film showcases to the audiences three point of views relating to double murder case.
Talvar, which is loosely based on the Noida double murder case, involved extensive research and verification of facts which stretched over a period of months.
The makers of the film wanting to leave no loose ends conducted a thorough survey around the case by visiting Noida and other places related to the case.
This resulted in the pre production cost of the film being equal to the production cost, which is something that rarely happens.
Team Talvar has put in all their time, energy and resources to present to the audiences an unbiased film presenting the case facts while paying attention to the minutest details.
Although, 'Talvar' always had a modest budget at the production level, but the makers never wanted to compromise at the pre production level as this phase forms the core of the presentation of the film.
It was extremely essential for the makers to observe and study intricate details so as to present to the audiences precise facts and realistic portrayal of series of events.
'Talvar' is directed by Meghna Gulzar and features power packed performers like Irrfan Khan, Konkana Sen, Neeraj Kabi amongst others.
Vishal Bharadwaj's Talvar is all set to release in India on 2nd October, 2015.
