In the song titled 'Shaam Shaandaar', the actor is seen dancing around in a red jacket with baggy pants, with the film's lead actress Alia Bhatt.
Shahid took to Twitter to thank his designer through a post that read: `Special thanks to @kunalrawalvibe for the #shaamshaandaar look. Last minute saving the day vibe.`
The designer, who even designed the "Jab We Met" actor's wedding ensemble, is overwhelmed by the actor's gesture and notes that the ensemble is one of his personal favourites.
"This is one of my favourite designs from my collection. I found deep oxblood red quite a shaandaar fit," Rawal said in a statement.
Shahid, who grabbed headlines for his marriage with Delhi-girl Mira Rajput earlier this year, will be coming on the silver screen for the first time post his wedding.
"Shaandaar" is a romantic comedy against the backdrop of a destination wedding. Produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, the film is directed by Vikas Bahl, and will release on October 22.
