"'Masaan' is a film which is closest to my heart. I took a lot of time to detach the character of Devi from me. Even now I am not sure whether I have totally phased that out. "Masaan " follows a group of people living in Varanasi, which reserves a cruel punishment for those who play with moral traditions and bagged two awards at Cannes, including a debut director award for Ghaywan.
