The actor, who is gearing up to dazzle on the silver screen with the much-anticipated movie `Shaandaar" opposite Alia Bhatt, got nostalgic during the finale episode of a dance reality show `Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded`. Shahid is judging the Colors show and the finale episode will be aired on October 10.
Geeta had choreographed Shahid as a child for his very first advertisement, read a statement.
Confirming the news, film's spokesperson said: `Shahid turned nostalgic after a dance performance and thanked Geeta Kapur for teaching him his very first dance step.`
Shahid, who grabbed headlines for his marriage with Delhi-girl Mira Rajput earlier this year, will be coming on the silver screen for the first time post his wedding with "Shaandaar".
"Shaandaar" is a romantic comedy against the backdrop of a destination wedding. Produced by Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, the film is directed by Vikas Bahl, and will release on October 22.
