The extravagant heritage structure was chosen by Director Vikas Bahl after conducting recce across 5 countries, travelling nearly 15 thousand kilometers and visiting nearly 40 castles.
Vikas was of a vision to film the pivotal wedding sequences of the film in a castle fulfilling particular requisites.
The aforementioned castle proved to be a perfect match with regard to its scenic beauty and royal infrastructure.
During the tenure of the Shaandaar crew's stay at the castle, they made sure to take special precautionary measures to sustain the well being of the heritage structure.
On the last day of the shoot, the crew went an extra mile and cleaned up the entire castle.
Shaandaar displays a Shaandaar team with the return of Vikas Bahl after Queen, Shahid Kapoor after Haider and Alia Bhatt after Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania.
The movie directed by Vikas Bahl is all set to release on 22nd October 2015.
