Salman visited the city during the Navratri festivities and had a great time celebrating the festival with the Ahmedabad audiences.
The actor received a lot of Prem in return when a big red box was presented to him while departure.
The box contained nearly 10,000 love letters from fans across the city.
The sweet gesture was undertaken by Salman's Ahmedabad fan's as a token of love for their favourite star.
Says a source, "Salman was pleasantly surprised by the gesture and thanked the audiences for showering him with so much love. At home too in Mumbai, the post office in Bandra near his house is flooded with sacks full of letters for Salman."
