Splitsvilla 8's contestant Ravi Shukla's name is being speculated as one of the first Wild Card entries on Bigg Boss 9.

Born and brought up in Mumbai, Ravi is a model and actor who is said to have appeared in TV serials like Gumrah, Code Red, Talash and Savdhan India, apart from Splitsvilla.

Though not many know of him, Ravi has promoted himself as an actor who has also done TV commercials with famous brands like Yep Me shoes, Monte Carlo Fashions and McDowels No.1 spirits.

Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar who has handled the publicity for maximum Bigg Boss contestants feels, "Since Ravi is not a known name on a national scale, if he enters mid-way as a Wild Card, it will be an uphill task for him to make a mark."
