Wielding a golden sword and eyes set on a target, actress Deepika Padukone looks like she is in an attack mode, in the first look of her character Mastani from the forthcoming film "Bajirao Mastani".

Unveiled on Sunday, the poster presents Deepika in her warrior look.

"#warrior...#lover...#fierce...#fragile...#power...#strength...#grace..presenting MASTANI! #Mastani #BajiraoMastani," Deepika captioned the image.

`Bajirao Mastani` narrates the love story of Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I (played by Ranveer Singh) and Mastani. Priyanka Chopra plays Bajirao's first wife Kashibai in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial.

It is set to release on December 18 along with Deepika's first co-star Shah Rukh Khan's film "Dilwale", which will bring back the onscreen couple SRK and Kajol.
