Prithviraj Kapoor's 1969 release Nanak Nam Jahaz Hai is all set the hit the screens, once again, and the poster of the iconic film was launched amidst much fanfare yesterday.

Keeping the theme of the devotional film in mind, the poster was launched at a Gurudwara in Mumbai and many celebrities including the likes of Dharmendra, Randeep Hooda, Gulshan Grover, Armaan Kohli, Harry Baweja, Sonu Walia, Deepraj Rana, Girish Malik, Anjum Rizvi, Dharam Mehra, Guneet Monga and Rajkumar Kohli attended the do.


The event had an auspicious beginning, as it started with kirtan and ardaas and post that the celebs unveiled the poster along with Raju Chadda, Chairman, Wave Group and Rahul Mittra, CEO Wave Cinemas, who are re-releasing the movie. Also present at the event was Armaan's mother Nishi Kohli, who played the lead in the National Award-winning film, Mohinder Singh - the music director of the film, Raman Maroo, Ketan Maroo and Vinod Karani from Shemaroo, apart from others.

Talking about her movie, Nishi Kohli said, `Nanak Nam Jahaz Hai is not a film, it's a message and I'm happy that it's re-releasing as the younger generation too would get a chance to watch it.`

The epic Punjabi film is all set to hit the theatres once again on Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Birth Anniversary, November 27.
