"It's not 11 directors (Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Anu Menon, Hemant Gaba, Nalan Kumarasamy, Pratim D. Gupta, Q, Raja Sen, Rajshree Ojha, Sandeep Mohan, Sudhish Kamath and Suparn Verma) making 11 different stories, but making one single film. I thought it was impossible. That's why out of curiosity, I got involved in the project," said Bidita.
Speaking about the film, she said that her role demanded her to play an upcoming actress. "This is what I am in real life, so there was no homework or any specific effort involved," she added.
"None of the 11 directors are new, and all are such good directors. I wouldn't need to run around with my portfolio as all directors know me through the film. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," said Bidita about the film, which also stars Radhika Apte, Huma Qureshi and Swara Bhaskar.
Bidita has displayed her acting skills in numerous Bengali films such as "Icche" and "Chokher Paani".
"Very few actors would have risked their lives to complete a film. But during the shooting of my film, 'As The River Flows' there was a grenade attack in Assam. While shooting for 'Chokher Paani' in Nandigram, there were riots that broke out and I've even seen people dying in front of me," the actress shared about her past experiences.
