Manisha Koirala managed to mesmerize her audience at the Caribbean'Bollywood Nite' held at the Center of Excellence Auditorium in the Port of Spain, Trinidad, West
Indies, this week.
The actress who performed a distinctive ethnic song sequence, had the over-flowing crowd of 8,000 people screaming for more. As Manisha gyrated to a few conservative
Indian songs, the audience burst into long spells of clapping and whistling.
"The response was just amazing. My performance was more culture-based. I guess,
that did the trick!," she said, and added, "It felt real good to perform before such a receptive and cheering crowd."
Presented by Tony Maharaj and organized by AIM India (partnered by Chunky Panday and Abhijit Chowdhary), the event also saw Akshay Kumar, Urmila Matondkar, Dino
Morea, Alisha Chinoy, Sukhwinder Singh and Kunal Ganjawala perform to 10,000 watts of live music at the Center of Excellence Auditorium on the Caribbean islands.
