Like winning a race! Surprised, huh? Well, we aren't talking about the rat race in the industry -which is an easy feat for this actor. The race that gets him into a panic is the parents' annual sports day at his kids' school.
He recently participated in this race and won it too, but says that it was like a challenge and moments before the race were "nerve-racking." For an actor who has been in top form and on top of the game for long, his anxiety over a school race is indeed quite endearing. He explains, "Well, parents of most of the other children are in their late 20s or early 30s, I'm nearing 50." Talking about winning the race he says, "While all kids root for their parents, it is sad when friends talk to each other about their dads losing. So it's important for the father to win the race for his child." We agree Akki, in the 'long run', this is the race that really matters. Right?
