Mumbai terror attacks can never be forgotten: B-Town on seventh anniversary

On the seventh anniversary of the 26/11 terror attack in Mumbai on Thursday, film fraternity members like Lata Mangeshkar, Anupam Kher, Priyanka Chopra and Onir saluted the martyrs and victims. They said that the harrowing images of the mayhem still remain fresh in their memories.

The gruesome attack by 10 Pakistani gunmen with the terrorists taking hostages in hotels and opening fire on roads of the city of dreams shook the nation. The attacks left 166 people, including 28 foreigners, dead and the nightmare ended after a 60-hour long operation that began on the night of November 26, 2008.

The only terrorist who was captured alive was Ajmal Kasab who was hanged four years later on November 21 2012.
