Yellow Productions' and Jar Pictures' 'Nil Battey Sannata' directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has been a favourite at international film festivals and also seems to have floored many on home turf.The latest being south superstar Dhanush.

Sources revealed that Rai recently organized a private screening of the film for Dhanush, with whom he shares a warm equation and the star loved the film so much that he has bought the remake rights of it. Dhanush and Aanand L Rai will together co-produce the film, which will be remade in Tamil for the south market, as they strongly believe that it is a story that deserves to be told.This Tamil remake will also be directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Sources said," Dhanush absolutely loved the film and will be producing it under his banner along with Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions . Having bought the rights recently, the two will personally be looking into the details ,including the casting as they both believe in the film".
