Meenal Jain well-known  singer , the past top 6 th finalist in the reality show Indian Idol 2 on Indian Television and who also recently sang romantic number 'Banjaare' from newly released  Shashi Ranjan and Anu Ranjan's romantic comedy film Wedding Pullav has come out with her own latest song 'Ashqaan Di Maala'which is sung , produced, composed and distributed by her Meenal quotes " 'Ashqaan Di Maala' is a romantic sad song about the journey of a lover in search of true love, it has a strong undertone of separation and longing. Meenal Jain is an Indian singer who has sung for Hindi Films and several music albums. A trained singer, Meenal Jain took inspiration from music composer Ravindra Jain and later on received extensive training under her singing Gurus. She has received rigorous training from noted singer Suresh Wadkar's training institute.Meenal sung her first Bollywood number Palken Jhukao Na in the 2005 hindi film 'Sehar', followed by Dua in 'No One Killed Jessica'(2010) ,Banarasiya in 'Raanjhanaa'(2013) and Banjaare in 'Wedding Pullav'.

She has also given her voice for Barbie in the Hindi dub of the 2007 animated film Barbie as the Island Princess and Kal-Yesterday and Tomorrow(featuring Shiney Ahuja)title track and more. She has also several music albums to her credit, Mehram,Rehnuma,Deepawali Ayi Re,Aman Ki Asha, to name a few.She has even done playback singing in Telugu Movies.
