"Student of the Year" actress Alia Bhatt will add spunk and peppiness to BIG Star Entertainment Awards 2015 by performing for the first time at the awards ceremony here.

Alia, who has shown her dancing prowess in songs like "Radha teri chunri", "Iski uski", "Saturday Saturday" and "Gulaabo", will groove to popular tracks of her films to set the stage ablaze with her electrifying performance at the ceremony, which will be held later this month, read a statement.

The daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has confirmed her performance for the first award show of the season.

Her "Shaandaar" co-star Shahid Kapoor will also shake a leg with television stars.

Superstar Salman Khan has also confirmed his performance for the award ceremony, which is presented by 92.7 BIG FM and Star Plus.
