Sanjay Leela Bhansali's office still has an old poster of his dream project, 'Bajirao Mastani', featuring Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai - the filmmaker's original choice for the film.

On 'Bigg Boss 9', Sallu even made it a point to tell Ranveer Singh (who was promoting the film) that he was the first choice to play Bajirao's character.
