Kunal Kapoor seems to be the go-to guy in a crisis situation. The actor through his online crowdfunding platform has raised Rs 80 lakh to deal with the flood situation in Chennai.

He has previously shown his humanitarian side by raising over a crore for the quake-hit in Nepal and over R30 lakh for emergency relief work during the Kashmir floods.

The actor also plans to visit Chennai to ensure the relief reaches like he had done earlier by visiting Kathmandu. Rana Daggubatti has also been active on the relief front ensuring that medicine and food reach relief teams in Chennai.

Rana's family-owned Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad has become the drop point for relief essentials which are packed and trucked to Chennai.
