Director Vipul Shah has hired a Hollywood cinematographer for his next venture "Namaste London", a love story starring Rishi Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Upen Patel and
Katrina Kaif.
Shah has hired Peter Field, who has notable Hollywood movies "Tomb Raider", "Troy", "Tomorrow Never Dies" and "The Da Vinci Code" to his credit, Bollywood Trade
reports.
"Peter Field has done great work in the past. Besides I want to shoot my film in a special way, which is why I have hired him. It is a love story and this one is definitely not
based on a Gujarati play like 'Aankhen' and 'Waqt - The Race Against Time'," said Shah.
The director says Upen and Katrina have major roles in the film.
"I had signed Upen much before '36 China Town' had released. I was confident that he'd make it big in life.
"As far as Katrina is concerned, I am sure she'll do full justice to the character. Even though she is a new comer, she is a great artist and has tremendous potential, I feel,"
said Shah.
