With her debut film as a director, Yaariyan, turned to be one of the biggest hit in 2013 with a bunch of newcomers, Divya Khosla Kumar has taken a step ahead and is set to start her promotions for Sanam Re. With the first film that was very youth oriented and catered to the fun loving elements of life, Sanam Re will be a romantic film.

When Divya was writing the script for the film, she knew she wanted someone that can blend well in different looks and a completely fresh and unseen pairing to explore more emotions. When Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela were finalized to be a part of the film last year, Divya's ensemble cast was all set to roll their timeless love story. Divya who ensured she herself chose the cast for Sanam Re says, `I was looking of working with someone pure and genuine who can do justice to the characters we wrote. Pulkit, Yami and Urvashi have a charm of their own, they stand out from each other yet can emote beautiful chemistry with each other. I needed pure, innocent love to be depicted on screen and all three fit the roles perfectly.`


The chemistry between the cast is quite evident throughout the trailer that was released 2 days ago on a popular video sharing website which has received 1.5 million views and counting in such little time. The trailer that takes you through different shades of any relationship like friendship, attraction, love, heartbreak and longing. The sizzling chemistry between Yami and Pulkit and songs that are already ruling the hearts with striking locations have made the trailer a hit. With a grand response received for the trailer already, the team is set to launch their first song today. The title track of Sanam Re which is sung by the soulful Arijit Singh will launch the trailer with Divya, Pulkit and Yami at his concert today evening amidst a crowd of around 20000 people. The song a perfect one for this Valentine is composed and written by Mithoon will definitely give some goosebumps.
