Recently, director Zoya Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani met around 100 students from Stanford University, USA, who are currently in the country, as part of an exchange programme. The students had written to Zoya, and had requested for a meet-and greet session to understand different aspects of film-making.

A source close to the director says, `After the success of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Dil Dhadakne Do, the students wanted to know from Zoya all that's involved in making a film. They spoke to her about direction, scriptwriting, casting and other aspects of moviemaking. They also had a session with Ritesh, in which they asked him questions related to investments in films, and also how to market a movie.`

The students spoke to her (Zoya Akhtar) about direction, scriptwriting, casting, and other aspects of movie-making.

It was a highly interactive session and the students got a lot of useful information to take back home.
