Salman Khan kicked off his 50th birthday week by taking recourse to public transportation.

The star, who turns 50 on December 27, was spotted leaving his brother Sohail Khan's 46th birthday bash at a Bandra nightspot in the wee hours of Monday in an auto-rickshaw. Sallu was accompanied by his actor-buddy Nikhil Dwivedi.

Last heard, the rickshaw driver was grinning from ear-to-ear and there was no way he could have refused to ferry his star passenger to whichever destination he may have demanded.
