All those rumors about Urmilla Matondkar slapping Ram Gopal Varma's wife in public seem to be false after all. Ram Gopal himself has been livid and gone to town saying that his wife never attends any film functions, and all those malicious rumors are untrue. However, the facts remain that everything is not hunky-dory between the livewire director and his muse, Urmilla Matondkar.
One of the film's being produced by Ramu starring Urmilla has been shelved, and his RGV Corporation has signed Manisha Koirala for two film, Company and one other. So, there is some credence to the rumor that the two have had fallout of sorts. What exactly is the status one can't tell, but it remains to be seen, how things fare in 2002 for the duo.
