Soon, the stage which was set up as a boxing ring had Ritika Singh grace it in a rather unusual avatar.
The real life boxer stuck to her roots and showcased some flattering boxing moves.
She had her father in tow, who is a real life boxer too, along with her brother who is an aspiring boxer.
Ritika combated respectively with her father and brother, leaving the audiences absolutely thrilled.
The actress delivered some spellbinding moves as she punched, kicked and smacked down her opponent.
While she proved to be a tough competition to her father, she took down her brother with her impeccable boxing moves almost immediately.
The session was soon open to questions, where Producer Rajkumar Hirani termed Ritika Singh as the perfect choice to play the part of a protege set to learn the art of boxing. As Ritika possessed a finesse in the sport mixed with the skill of acting, she proved to be the apt choice.
Saala Khadoos lead, R Madhavan, who plays a badass coach to Ritika shared the complexities he witnessed while filming romantic sequences with the young actress.
Ritika too addressed the audiences at length whereby she spoke about her journey as a professional boxer in addition to sharing that acting was a spontaneous decision on her part.
Saala Khadoos is about a rustic fisherwoman, played by Ritika Singh who Mahadhanvan's character, a badass boxing coach, groom's into a match winning boxer.
The film revolves around Madhavan who is relentlessly is pushing his protege, Ritika to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals.
Saala Khadoos is a film by Rajkumar Hirani Films & Tricolour Films in association with UTV Motion Pictures and is directed by Sudha Kongara.
The trailer that was released by the makers received great appreciation and had created good curiosity amongst the audiences around Ritika.
The film is all set to release on 29th January 2016.
