/> Mom in hospital, incessant rains and flood-like situations in both his homes Prateeksha and Jalsa, and a bout of viral fever....anyone else in his place would have been pretty much down in the dumps.

Not Amitabh Bachchan. It wasn't so much the rains as his sudden bout of influenzia that left the long-delayed last stint of Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna jeopardized once again on 4 July.

Says a source, "This is a very critical part of KANK's shooting where the entire cast has to be present while Amitji and Abhishek had to dance. Kajol also makes an appearance during the course of the song.

This would have been the second time that Karan would have had to cancel if Amitji had been unable to report for work.

But look at the Big B's tenacity. On Thursday he was back on the sets shooting and dancing. Though he was not fully recovered he didn't want Karan to suffer any more losses on his account.

Everyone on the set from choreographer Farah Khan to director Karan Johar gaped in amazement as Mr Bachchan got into the groove."

Smiles Mr Bachchan, "Work is work. And I didn't want Karan to suffer any more losses. After all his release is around the corner."
