This film will be Priyanka's first Hollywood outing and second international project after her hit TV show "Quantico".
When asked how does she feel about the news, Parineeti said in an interview, "Is it confirmed though? I will call her soon. It's amazing... The things that she is achieving out there are just fabulous. There are things that you and I can dream of and she's doing them. It's amazing."
There are no details on the character Priyanka would be playing in the adaptation of the iconic TV show, but the 'Bajirao Mastani' actress is likely to join Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efron for the film.
The "'Shudh Desi Romance' star says she is proud of Priyanka, who recently bagged People Choice Award for the FBI-drama series "Quantico", and feels she has always been ahead in the family.
"Not only as a sister, she always used to be ahead in the family, she would go out and do things and we would constantly be amazed. Now she's winning awards, doing a TV show and now a film. I don't think anybody else could've done it like here. Nobody else deserves it like her because that girl really works hard."
