As part of the promotional strategy Sunny went on the popular reality show hosted by Salman. "It was a nice experience... enjoyed it. Salman and I have known each other since quite some time, we are colleagues and we had also done a film together. We share a different equation. He has great respect for me. We interacted and spoke about each other," Sunny said.
On reports that he got angry due to delay in the episode shoot, the 58-year-old actor said, "We are going into the gossip part. We did not shoot for that day... picked up another day. It happens. We all are clean-hearted, so it doesn't make any difference."
There was a time when Sunny did not believe much in promoting films. But today the industry veteran has no issues with promotional strategies planned for the upcoming release. "I have put in so much of hard work for the film as an actor, director and producer. I have understood it is as important to promote the film as it is to make the film," he said.
"Initially, I was reluctant to do it and used to get irritated, agitated. Then I felt I need to do it and enjoy it. I like it now. I am not bothered if I am making a goof up of myself because I am not pretending," he added.
Sunny has shown his soon to be released film 'Ghayal Once Again' to his close family and friends. "Everybody is excited about it. My parents, cousins, sisters who have come from America have seen it and they all are saying positive things. "I don't take it seriously as their views might be biased. As a director I have achieved what I wanted to.. I don't have regrets," he added.
The 'Gadar' star feels it is difficult to please everyone with a film. "We can't predict things. I am waiting for the audience's reaction," he adds.
'Ghayal Once Again' is produced and directed by Sunny. The film stars four newcomers - Rishabh Arora, Shivam Patil, Daina Khan and Anchal Munjal in lead roles.
After much changes in release dates, the movie is hitting screens on February 5. "It doesn't bother me. It is because of technical reasons. It is right to release a film when it (film) is ready. The release date has to be correct," Sunny said.
