Reacting to Sunny Leone's interview with a television journalist, where she had to face a volley of questions about her past, Aamir Khan has spoken in favour of the actress.

Aamir tweeted yesterday, "I think Sunny conducted herself wid a lot of grace & dignity. I wish I cud hav said the same abt the interviewer. Sunny, I wil b happy 2 wrk wid u. I hav absolutely no problems wid ur "past", as the interviewer puts it. Stay blessed. Love. A."

The interviewer had implied that because of her adult star past, Sunny may not be worthy of working with an actor like Aamir Khan. Reacting to Mr Perfectionist's tweet, Sunny posted, "I think my heart just dropped seeing this!! Thank you so much for the support. It means the world and beyond to me! Wow you just made my whole year saying that! I was just happy you wrote me back. respect you dearly!"

Several other Bollywood folk like Shahid Kapoor, Farah Khan, Mohit Suri, Aditi Rao Hydari, Arshad Warsi and Genelia Deshmukh had earlier tweeted applauding her and the way she handled the interview
