Amidst her pack schedule, the actress doesn't fail to remove some time for the welfare of girl empowerment. Being a girl she believes in taking the responsibility of creating awareness and fight against this grave issue.
Recently, the actress has been roped in as the brand ambassador of the campaign 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao', an initiative of Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI). The national initiative aims for the welfare and education of girl children especially in the rural areas. The south beauty had flew especially to Agra, where the official announcement was made and a special meet and greet was also held. According to an insider, Tamannah was also seen spending some time and interacting with few underprivileged girls under this initiative.
Commenting about it the beautiful diva, Tamannah Bhatia says, I'm glad that I can contribute to the national initiative of #betibachaobetipadhao by being FOGSI's brand ambassador. Girl education is a serious issue in our country and it needs the maximum awareness possible. Being a girl I feel proud that I got this chance to contribute in encouraging woman empowerment and fight against the injustice prevailing towards them. I am hoping that my contribution would help us to eradicate this issue and make our country a better place to live.
