Asked how he prepared for the role, Sunny who will be seen playing an editor's role for a newspaper in the film, told reporters here: "Everyone has a way of preparing themselves...I feel an actor is an actor who has everything within him."
The actor also added that portraying "different characters" for films have help actors in moving ahead.
"We (actors) have every kind of emotions in us. We have anger, love and hate... When we get these character to portray then be bring it out. So that's how I have been moving ahead," added the "Betaab" actor.
Sunny, who was promoting the film with his father and veteran actor Dharmendra says he is motivated by his father's belief in him in whatever he does.
"I ask papa about everything. I did 'Dillagi'. It was stuck for some time. I wanted to take it ahead. So I spoke to papa and he said if you 'believe in your self then go ahead'. If he believes in me that's when I can do anything. If once he says okay, then nobody can stand in front of me," said Sunny, who has starred with his father in films like "Apne" and "Yamla Pagla Deewana".
About his role in "Ghayal Once Again", the 58-year-old actor said: "I am playing an editor. I have a newspaper called 'Satyakam'. The name is taken from papa's (Dharmendra) film 'Satyakam'... It was one of my most favourite films. So all those people who are working for 'Satyakam', they want to work for the good."
"Ghayal Once Again" also stars actress Soha Ali Khan. The film is slated to hit the screens on Friday.
