Karisma Kapoor's lawyers on Tuesday opposed the application filed by her estranged husband Sunjay Kapur for the custody of their two children - Samaira and Kiaan Raj. The arguments on the custody of the kids will be heard on next date, March 3.

Dressed in white kurta and black pant, Karisma, along with her lawyers and manager, came to Bandra Family Court at 11:45 AM. After waiting for a while, the matter was called out. Karisma's lawyer Kranti Sathe filed a reply to the application filed by Sunjay's lawyer last time for the interim custody of the children. Sathe in her reply opposed for the interim custody of the children to Sunjay.

While Karisma was present in the court, there was just Sunjay's lawyer Heer Karamchandani present in the court. When asked about any developments in case, Karamchandani just said, "No comments."


Karisma is still to file her reply in the divorce petition filed by Sunjay Kapur which is likely to be filed on next date that is March 3.

On March 3, court will also hear arguments on the application of interim custody of the children. Also, Sunjay's lawyer might file another reply in the same application. Karisma's lawyer might also file an application in the next hearing to keep the matter in-camera, which means only the people related to the case will be allowed.

The couple was married in 2003 and has two children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj. Karisma had earlier withdrawn her consent, saying Sunjay failed to comply with the financial commitments mentioned in the consent terms.

In his fresh petition, Sunjay has claimed Karisma used access to the children to demand money. He had also said Karisma denied his ailing father access to the children.
