If the latest buzz is to be believed, Bipasha Basu has been recommending beau Karan Singh Grover to producers to help him get work.

Says a source, "The actress liked the script of a film she was recently offered and showed interest in being a part of it. However, she was more interested to know who was being considered to be cast opposite her. On being told the male lead's name, she asked the makers to cast Karan instead."


The source adds that Bips has been putting in a word for Karan wherever possible. According to industry insiders, the two started dating after working together in 2015 horror flick, Alone. Their off-screen chemistry was initially considered a publicity gimmick for the film, but they have been together till date.

Bipasha's spokesperson, however, denies the rumours and says, "The report is completely untrue and is purely a rumour. Bipasha is amused with this speculation since it is nothing but a figment of someone's imagination."

However, another source close to the couple explains, "Though Karan's last film (Hate Story 3) did well at the box office, he is finding it difficult to get work in the industry. This might be the reason that Bipasha is requesting filmmakers to cast him in lead roles."
