Actor R. Madhavan is glad that "Saala Khadoos" is hitting the right chord in different quarters of the society.

The actor is glad that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who along with his cabinet members watched "Saala KhadooS" earlier this week, liked the film.

"So privileged that the CM and the entire cabinet loved it. I was moved to hear their comments over the phone. I wish I had been there," Madhavan said in a statement.

"The film was enjoyed by the politicians, and they were seen raving about its content post the screening," said a source.

Directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and produced by Rajkumar Hirani,`Saala Khadoos" revolves around a boxing coach (Madhavan) who is relentlessly pushing his protege, Ritika Singh, to overcome obstacles and achieve her goals as a boxer.
