Don't know why? But after witnessing the onset of new turmoil in Salman's life, we are feeling compelled to say that misfortune does not seem to be in mood of loosening it's grip on this Dabangg of Bollywood. And we are saying so because ghost of 2002 hit and run case has once again returned to haunt Sallu Bhai. If recent reports are something to go by then they suggest that, family of hit and run case victim, Shaikh Noorullah Shafik, who was crushed to death under Salman's SUV, has knocked the door of SC as "forgotten" victim of the crime. Shafik's widow Begumjahva Haroon Khan represented by SC advocate Vipin Nair stated that "they were an integral part of the justice delivery system and that they are not to be forgotten and left high and dry."
Shafik's family also contended that HC erred in not relying on account of Salman's bodyguard Ravindra Patil who was in SUV at the time of accident. They further alleged that HC committed a grave legal error by reversing the lower court's finding.
Now with this latest bustle taking place in hit and run case, may be Salman will once again have rendezvous with those sleepless nights.
