Koel Purie wants to essay a wide range of roles and looks up to Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta for inspiration.

"There is no dearth of talent in Bollywood. The talent is just endless I feel. Rani Mukerji and Preity Zinta are two of my personal favourites amongst the contemporary actors.

"Even Sridevi and Saif Ali Khan are fantastic actors. Saif is just too amazing as an actor. He constantly chooses different characters to play. There are thousands of talented directors also."

Talking about her roles she said: "I will never repeat myself. I want to be versatile and do things that I've never done before. I want to do a period film, and an out and out romantic flick too. I'd also love to play a mother."

She has just finished shooting for an international British film "Losing Jemma", then there's a Canadian film, "Look Alike" and another with Raman Kumar.
