Adding to the growing list of Bollywood break-ups this year, Richa Chadha has parted ways with Franck Gastambide, her French beau of nine months.

The season of heartbreaks in Bollywood seems to be far from over. And if sources are to be believed, Richa Chadha is no longer dating French actor-director Franck Gastambide whom she met at the Cannes Film Festival last May. This break-up buzz comes close on the heels of three high-profile splits involving cine celebs - Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli and Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna Bhabani.

Industry insiders suggest that the long distance factor brought their relationship to an end. Richa had last met Franck in December last year and was also learning French a few months ago for better communication with her beau.

Says a source, "They were very much in love but could not sustain the long distance relationship. Although Richa travelled to France on a few occasions just to be with him, her work schedule was not allowing her to devote enough time to the relationship. They were barely able to talk to each other. So, they decided to end it." Last August, the actress, who was in San Francisco for a film festival, extended her US trip to spend time with Franck since he was in Los Angeles at that time to shoot a French film.

Richa remained unavailable for comment, but a source close to her confirms the buzz and says, "Richa was the one who decided to part ways and Franck, too, did not put in any effort to give their relationship more time and sort things out. She wants to focus on her career and is busy with two films, Cabaret and Sarbjit at the moment.

Franck is also tied up with his projects. As of now, there is no hope for the two to get back together."
