The order came after accused Peter Mukerjea's sister filed a petition stating that the movie's release would reduce his chances of a fair trial.

The Bombay High Court yesterday asked the makers of a movie based on the Sheena Bora murder case to not release it and keep all other material -- except an already released trailer -- under wraps. The court said the filmmakers would have to wait until it hears a petition filed by former media baron Peter Mukerjea's sister.

Peter's sister Shongon Das Gupta, through her counsel Venkatesh Dhond, told the division bench of Justice S C Dharmadhikari and G S Patel that if the film 'Dark Chocolate' is released, Peter doesn't stand a chance of a fair trail. Dhond also made the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) a party in the petition.

The court asked Shongon to file a fresh petition within two weeks with two changes --Peter's signature is required and the CBFC should be removed as a party, since it is yet to receive the movie for censoring.

The film's director Agnidev Chatterjee told the court that the film's shooting is complete and it is currently in post-production. "Don't release anything on the Internet till the time the petition is heard. We want to make sure that Peter Mukerjea gets a fair trial," said Dharmadhikari.

The film's trailer has already been released on the Internet. Mahima Chaudhary is playing prime accused Indrani Mukerjea, Riya Sen will portray Sheena Bora and Sudeep Mukherjee will play the part of Peter Mukerjea. The director was earlier planning to release the film on February 19. The film has been produced by Macneill Engineering Studio.
