Trust Karan Johar to lay out a star-studded fare with his movies. After roping in Saif Ali Khan and Fawad Khan for special appearances in his upcoming directorial 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil', the filmmaker has now turned to good friend Kajol to come on board for a cameo. The love saga features Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.
Says a source, "The principal shoot of the multistarrer has been wrapped up, but some major portions are yet to be filmed. There are certain roles that are short but crucial to the script, and Kajol will essay one such character. However, details of the shoot schedule are yet to be worked out since she is also likely to feature in one of the songs."
Karan remained unavailable for comment, but sources working on the project confirm the story.
In KJo's last directorial, 'Student Of The Year' (2012), Kajol was seen shaking a leg in the 'Disco Deewane' track for roughly 10 seconds. "Their friendship goes a long way back, so it is not surprising that she has agreed to be part of the film. In fact, Karan considers Kajol as his lucky mascot and wants her to be part of all his directorial ventures," adds a source.
Apart from Fawad, Saif and now Kajol, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will also have another Pakistani actor, Imran Abbas, playing Anushka's love interest.
