The film which goes on floors from August 3, is based on true incident of an encounter by the Mumbai Police with gangsters who were hiding in a flat in Lokhandwala complex, a posh locality in western suburbs of Andheri in the early 1990s.
Tusshar is leaving no stones unturned and is busy taking language classes with a specialist to adapt to the character he plays in the film.
The actor says he is a lucky guy because he is the only male protagonist who has a romantic track in the film, so in a way he gets to portray an entire gamut of emotions.
Tusshar is most excited about the look he is going to get in the film. "It's something that has never been done before with me."
'Shootout at Lokhandwala' is a multi-starrer film, including stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Vivek Oberoi and Sanjay Dutt.
