Talking about his film "Baar Baar Dekho", Sidharth said: "It's a very unique story... What happens in the life of a person from 18 years to 60. It's not a time travel or science fiction, it's a fictitious story. I have done prosthetics for a 60-year-old character in the film.
"It's a very difficult role, but the writing in this film is wonderful. It's an adapted screenplay, it's a love story with a twist, where the universe gives you an option to do something different."
Directed by Nitya Mehra, "Baar Baar Dekho" features Sidharth with actress Katrina Kaif. The film is slated for release on September 9.
Meanwhile, Sidharth is busy promoting his film "Kapoor & Sons". The actor who hails from Delhi and from a typical Punjabi family says the film was very relatable to him.
He said: "I have an elder brother in real life and we had a joint family in Delhi. I just came back from Delhi after attending my sister's wedding and what I realised was what we see in films... So, the film is very relatable."
Directed by Shakun Batra, "Kapoor & Sons" also features Rishi Kapoor, Ratna Pathak Shah, Rajat Kapoor, Fawad Khan and Alia Bhatt apart from Sidharth. It will hit the screens on March 18.
